Putnam County Students are Economically Disadvantaged.
You can learn more about how we help provide opportunities to Putnam County School System (PCSS) students below…
The BackPack Program:
The BackPack Program provides WEEKLY food bags to over 825 students experiencing food insecurity in the Putnam County School System.
Student Needs Fund:
The Student Needs Fund provides support to student and their families experiencing extenuating circumstances that create educational or safety hardships. We assist families by funding critical emergencies like Medical/Dental, transportation, utilities, and housing. We partner with PCSS case workers to ensure swift and efficient relief for students, which allows them to focus on academic achievement and growth.
Performing Arts Grants
Performing Arts Grants provides funding to Performing Arts programs in the Putnam County School System. Allowing students whose families are experiencing poverty or financial hardship to participate in choir and band programs in the same capacity as their peers.
Student Needs Drives
We believe that school employees shouldn’t have to use their money to cover the needs of children in their classrooms. Our goal this coming year is to provide funding to fully stock school care closets with essential needs (clothing, hygiene items, and emergency food boxes) and provide schools with resources to meet unexpected needs that arise for students throughout the school day!
