Over 55% of students in the Putnam County School System qualify as economically disadvantaged, and many face significant barriers to basic needs like food, clothing, and stable housing. Without these essentials, students struggle to focus on learning and reach their full potential.

By donating to the PEP Foundation, you help remove these barriers and provide critical resources through programs like the BackPack Food Program, emergency assistance for housing and utilities, school pantries, and more. Your support also helps fund initiatives like our Performing Arts Grants, offering students the chance to explore creativity, build confidence, and develop valuable skills.

    1 in 5 elementary-aged students are enrolled in our BackPack Program and experiencing food insecurity. Missed brain development from lack of nutrition is critical in these elementary students. By donating to the Backpack Program, you can change the trajectory of a child's life.

    Over 500 PCSS STUDENTS have experienced homelessness this year. Our Students Needs Fund helps assist when families experience hardships that can increase their children’s ACE scores or disrupt their education. Donor like you make this possible

  • The PEP Foundaiton is a 501c3 organization. Your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Please consult your accountant to learn more about the benefits of donating!

  • Yes, you may select one of our dedicated fund options by putting it in the memo of your check or by selecting the fund in the dropdown menu “Please select how you wish for our organization to appropriate your funds.” on our donation form. This will let us know how you wish for us to use your donation.

    Please note: We do not accept donations for individual schools, students, or Individual school programs. You may consult your school PTO, Booster Club, or school bookkeeper to discuss how to make those types of donations.
